Joe Waller Named Kier Construction Apprentice of the Year

GSI is proud to announce that Joe Waller has been named Kier Construction Apprentice of the Year at the Kier Construction London & Thames Valley Supply Chain Awards, held on Thursday 26th February.

The awards evening brought together contractors, partners and suppliers from across the region to celebrate excellence, collaboration and emerging talent within the construction industry. The Apprentice of the Year award recognises individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, development and contribution within their role.

Joe, our Trainee Quantity Surveyor at GSI, supports several Kier projects as part of our commercial team. Over the course of his apprenticeship, he has consistently demonstrated professionalism, dedication and a strong drive to learn.

Speaking after receiving the award, Joe said:

“I’m incredibly proud to have been named Kier Construction Apprentice of the Year. It means a lot to be recognised in this way. I’ve really been enjoying my time at GSI and the opportunity to work on Kier projects alongside such experienced and supportive teams. It’s been a fantastic learning experience so far, and I’m looking forward to continuing to develop and build my career.”

In addition to Joe’s achievement, 30 other apprentices received special recognition on the night, highlighting the strength of emerging talent across the supply chain. The event also celebrated a range of supply chain award winners, showcasing the collaborative efforts that drive successful project delivery across the London and Thames Valley region.
