GSI Delivers 123kg Christmas Donation to The Chiltern Foodbank
The GSI team is proud to have delivered a Christmas foodbank donation to The Chiltern Foodbank in Amersham, supporting local families in need during the festive season and beyond.
Over the past month, colleagues across GSI collected essential food items and festive supplies, which were delivered on 26 November 2025 – just in time to be included in the Foodbank’s Christmas box distribution. The final donation weighed an impressive 123kg, reflecting the generosity and commitment of the GSI team.
This social value initiative highlights the importance of supporting local foodbanks not only at Christmas, but throughout the year. During the visit, the team at The Chiltern Foodbank were incredibly welcoming and reinforced the ongoing need for donations to help meet rising demand in the community.
Following the delivery, GSI received a thank you letter from The Chiltern Foodbank, acknowledging the impact of the contribution:
“I am writing to thank you all at GSI Contract Services for your generous donation of items to Chiltern Foodbank. The total weight of the donation was 123kg. In the past twelve months, we provided over 24,800 meals to local people in need, more than a third of whom were children. We distributed over 47 tonnes of food, which had been generously donated by people like yourselves from our local communities.”
