GSI Contract Services was commissioned by Bouygues UK to deliver the fire stopping package for the Wornington Green regeneration project in North Kensington, London.

The project forms part of the wider regeneration of Wornington Green, delivering new homes and improved residential accommodation for the local community. The development includes social rent homes alongside new shared green spaces and improved pedestrian areas.

GSI’s scope of works included:

Fire stopping to service penetrations through fire-rated walls and floors.
Installation of systems providing up to 120 minutes’ fire protection
Completion of works in accordance with the relevant tested systems and manufacturer requirements

GSI’s delivery provided compliant fire stopping to service penetrations, helping maintain the required fire resistance and compartmentation of the building. The works required the installation of a range of passive fire protection systems.
