Paddock SEND School – Tooting

Works for Willmott Dixon 2025

The project involved the delivery of the full fire protection and intumescent paint package for the new net zero Paddock SEND School in Tooting. Commissioned by Willmott Dixon on behalf of Wandsworth Borough Council, the scheme provided a new purpose-built facility designed with accessibility, sustainability, and learning at its heart.

GSI’s scope of works included the application of Jotun intumescent coatings to new structural steelwork, along with the complete fire stopping package to service penetrations throughout the building. The installation was delivered in two phases, covering both the new build and existing/refurbishment elements of the school’s structure. All works were carried out in accordance with the project’s stringent fire safety and environmental performance requirements.

Materials used: Jotun intumescent coatings, Quelfire and Nullifire fire stopping systems.
