Nine Elms – London

London Square 2026

GSI was commissioned by London Square to deliver the passive fire protection package for the prestigious Nine Elms development, located in the heart of Nine Elms. This landmark scheme forms part of one of London’s largest regeneration programmes and sits within the wider Nine Elms masterplan.

The development is a large-scale mixed-use scheme delivering 756 homes across multiple buildings, including build-to-rent (BTR), private sale, and affordable housing.

Designed to a high specification, the scheme includes a range of premium resident amenities such as concierge services, co-working spaces, meeting rooms, a cinema room, gym facilities, landscaped gardens, and communal leisure areas. The buildings are centred around a landscaped park and benefit from a prime location overlooking the River Thames.

GSI’s scope of works included:

Fire stopping around penetrations through fire walls and floors as per fire strategy drawings.

The project required a high level of coordination across multiple trades and phases due to the scale and complexity of the development. GSI worked closely with London Square and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery, maintaining strict compliance with fire safety regulations and programme deadlines.
